Decorating the House and Christmas Festivities

Living in the south it never truly feels like Christmas until the house is decorated. Once we get the tree up and the house sparkles with twinkling lights I often forget that its still 80 degrees outside. Many times the boys get dressed in pants and long sleeves and end up having to come back in and change into shorts :)

Decorating the Tree; This is the first year I didn't follow the kids and Trevor around, behind them, moving ornaments around and making them evenly spaced. I must say it did feel good to see the boys stand back and be really proud of what they created.

Wanting to be just like Dad

On top the Ladder... This is becoming a traditional decorating experience.

Wow Big Boy

Here Goes Xzavier

Decorating the Tree

X did such a great job this year. He pretty much decorated the whole lower portion of the tree.

Even though most decorations were on the same branch, it looked Great!

They had so much fun.

Dad did a great job putting up lights outside. He says our Tree has become a Christmas Staple in our neighborhood. Seriously we do get a lot of compliments.

And Introducing this years newest addition. Num Num, Nigels Crazy Elf Brother. After drawing this silly elf for Xzavier and Dad to color, he has now become a character in many made up Christmas stories.
