Nixon is Here // At the Hospital

Happy Birthday, Nixon Renick Blosser!!

July 17 at 5pm I was checked into the hospital. After some paperwork I got all hooked up and we settled in for the night. Contractions started and only got stronger as the night progressed, I didn't get much sleep but don't worry I was so excited I probably couldn't sleep anyways. By 8am the next morning I was ready for my epidural and thank goodness because by the time Dr Marks came in at 8:30am I was 9cm dilated and ready to push. It was only a few short contractions and pushes and by 9:35 Nixon was born. 7/18/2012, 7'14 and 21 1/2 inches long... It was another amazing experience, my eyes were tearing and I was filled with excitement and the most love I've ever felt.  Its a feeling that a mother can only try to explain but the love and compassion I feel for each of my children is such that I can't find the words. We are so blessed to have the most perfect family, I don't know what I would do with out my Boys!!!

He's a pro now.

Carmela and Taryn stopped by on their way home. My Friend, Carmela and I had the babies on the same day an hour and a half apart. Small world and so glad it happened, we've been able to lean on each other since we are going through the same exact things. We joke that we should have left our men with the other boys and shacked up somewhere with the babies for a few months.

Fourth of July and Trevor's Birthday

For the Fourth of July we took the boys to a Thrashers baseball game which was really fun. Lennox pays attention more then you would think and Xzavier loves to eat everything there... He's like his mama. Also, as a tradition we have been attending the Safety Harbor Fireworks Display for about 6 years now and once again we hulled the kids and our big blanket out there and enjoyed a nice evening under the stars. The boys just love Fireworks and I'm glad we started this tradition. I can see us doing this for many years to come.

We also celebrated Trevor's 33rd Birthday with a few friends. It was low key evening with good food (homemade Stromboli and Almond, Double Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Frosting) and great laughs. Happy Birthday My Love, Thank you for always being so helpful and supportive. I really hit the jackpot when I found you and I' so blessed to spend my life with you.

Lennox thought his mouth needed a cooling off

Xzavier enjoyed his favorite ball field treat, a Cherry Slushy!

The Dollar Store Fans were a huge hit. Even better then the Game!
